Engineering
An open exchange of ideas is the foundation of good part design. Our team works closely with our clients to develop plastic parts that will function the way they envision. Concept drawings, modeling, and prototyping are the primary tools we use to move us through this process together. Tooling is engineered for efficiency, repeatability, and consistent delivery of quality parts. Creative Engineering - The tools we use include: 2D / 3D CAD Drawings, SolidWorks & AutoCAD software, Overnight prototyping, and In house SLA prototyping equipment.
Prototyping
Our prototyping equipment allows us to provide extremely accurate and functional prototypes. Clients can test new designs for form, fit, and function prior to releasing a part for production. As a result, lead times are shortened and costly mistakes are eliminated. Prototypes may be produced overnight on our 3 Deminsional SLA printer, cut, welded, heat bent in our fabrication department, and sampled on temporary tooling. Or a combination of all three.
Tooling
In-house, domestic, and imported tooling can all be made to required specifications. Vacuum calibration and vacuum sizers control tolerances and increase production rates. Design of parts for automated application ìs secondary processes. Extrusion tooling is made in-house on conventional mills, lathes, and wire edm machines. Fabrication tooling and fixtures are also made in-house primarily on cnc router and conventional woodworking equipment. Finally, injection molds are designed and maintained in-house and machined either locally or internationally depending upon the design and lead time.
